Tomie

After reading GYO & Umazaki I feel kinda love these art from Ito Junji~ So i search for more work of his. Then I came to a manga which is the most popular of all work of Ito-San "TOMIE". In Japan during year of 1999 till now, many TV producer adopt TOMIE into TV series, and some into movie and it is quite a hit.

How a beautiful girl name TOMIE became popular? Well, if u ask... Do you ever wonder why if a human been chopped and her body was thrown all over the state and from the body part left it became another person? "Regenerate" is the word...

The story begin with a high-school girl named Tomie, who can be seen as a living embodiment of lust and all the negative emotions that go along with it, such as jealousy. She is identified by a mole under her left eye.

She possesses an undisclosed power to make anyone fall in love with her. Through sleight of hand, or emotional manipulation, she drives these men into jealous rages that inevitably lead to brutal acts of violence. Men kill each other over her; and girls are sometimes driven to jealous rages as well. Tomie is inevitably killed time and again, only to regenerate. Tomie is cursed to go on forever in this way.

This is a interesting story~ I like it, thought the art seem poor ( the Early work of Ito-san) but the plot is good... kinda creepy when you see lizard tail fall of it body and it is still moving.. what do u think if these is a human leg??? scary huh..
